Square is situated at the confluence of the rivers Lopan and Kharkiv, where, according to legend, the city of Kharkiv began. A couple of years ago Square has been restored and in the warm season it is one of the most popular destinations of Kharkovites and city guests. From the points of attraction in the park are located the boat station and a new pedestrian bridge over the river Kharkiv, who in two years of existence has become a traditional venue for wedding photo shoots.
