Eternal Fire or Monument to fighters of October Revolution

Eternal Fire was opened in the park on Universitska Horka in 1957 to honor those who gave their lives for the power of the Soviets – so inscription on the monument says. The fire was lit by a torch, brought from the Campo Marzio in St. Petersburg.
