Kharkiv State Academic Ukrainian Dramatic Theatre named after T.G. Shevchenko is actually one of the oldest theatres of Ukraine – it was found in Kyiv 31th of March 1922. Founder of theatre – legend in history of Ukrainian theatre – Les Kourbas – gave to newborn theatre Ukrainian name of the march “berezen” – “Berezil”. In six month as played theatre’s first show, and in four years after theatre moved to Kharkiv. Nowadays Ukrainian Drama Theatre actually has two theatres in one – main stage, where all classic plays are going, and old “Berezil” – where experiments are going on
