The intersection of Moskovskyi Ave and ring road |
The memorial complex in Drobitskyi ravine was built on the site of mass executions of Kharkiv residents by the Nazi occupiers in 1941-42. According to the State Archives there were shot between 16 and 20 thousand people – Jews, mental patients, Red Army prisoners. Today here is working memorial complex – closer to the road is set Menorah, then, already in the ravine – funeral hall with a cup of sorrow, and thousands of names of killed are immortalized here.
