Kharkov Youth Theater, or theater for children and youth, is one of the oldest children’s theaters in the Ukraine. It appeared in 1920 as the “First National Theater for Children”, which later split into two teams – the “First Nayional” at the end of adventures and troubles went to Lviv, where it is today, and in its place remained Theatre for Young Audiences. The repertoire has 28 different in style and genre plays for preschool, primary, middle and high school age. The performances of the theater are going on Russian and Ukrainian languages.
